The Practice’s experienced team includes two Accredited Conservation Engineer (CARE) with a wide-ranging background in the restoration and repair of historic buildings and bridges.
S&CC has worked on a vast array of historic structures, with award-winning restoration – from castles, country houses, churches and city walls. S&CC prides itself on an extensive knowledge of historic structures and its team has a rare ability to diagnose complex engineering problems and find innovative cost-effective solutions that always prioritise the conservation of historic fabric and character. S&CC frequently prevent the drastic underpinning of buildings which is rarely justified.
